Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara Review

Hello lovely people
I wanted to do a more in deepth review of this Mascara. You can check out the video I have on this Mascara here:

So lets get started
First off lets tackle the claims Revlon makes on this mascara shall we.

"Lash enhancing formula complements the natural growth cycle of your lashes, improving their overall appearance and conditioning with each use
-Get lashes that look instantly longer and lusher and will also grow stronger day after day" -http://www.revlon.com/Revlon-Home/Products/Eyes/Mascara/Revlon-Grow-Luscious-Mascara.aspx#

I can't talk about the enhancing of my natural growth cycle because so far I've only used it a month. I do see a small difference on my overall appearance but nothing to drastic. This mascara does nothing to length my lashes. It does give me Volume and that's enough for me.
So here are my natural lashes for a perspective of what I already have to work with.

The brush makes it hard for me to work with this mascara and definitely took time to get use to. The formula is not clumpy at all and does not have any weird smell.

This mascara does not hold curl as well as other mascara's I have tried. Overall I would not purchase this mascara again but I will use up the tube until it'd done.

Let me know what you think about this Mascara and what others you would want me to review.

New Years Resolution

As I sit here 6 days into the New Year I can't help but feel like making a list of New Year Resolutions. This has happened many times before I try to keep them and sometimes I do and other I just fail miserably. Here goes I will take a stab at them and Hopefully make 50% of them come true. Wish me luck?

1)Use up all the make up I have and save money to splurge on my Birthday(Aug 18th big 21st)

2)Avoid buying any more jewelry such as earrings, bracelets and necklace. Rings are fine because I have such tiny fingers I can never find any :(

3)Buy no more flats, tennis shoes or casual shoe. I'm allowed to buy two pair of heels and nothing more.

4) Eat healthier(pfft... you've said this before) Make a conscious effort this time.

5)Study a little bit more or should I say Keep the grades the way they are or slightly higher that wouldn't hurt.

6)Play with my camera more and capture what others don't see and possibly can I say upload them onto this blog...

7) live by this quote at least when people make you feel bad "Some people are in your life forever and some are just meant to make an appearance"

8)Allow myself to make mistakes and grow from them no one is perfect, I should know that by now.

Good Bye November

Today I will be raving about all the wonderful products I have been
using for the month of November and trust me there are a lot :)
So I figured a blog post would be easier to do than a video.

1)Burt's Bees Honey lip balm
2)The colossal Volum' Mascara
3)Maybelline Loose Powder
4)E.L.F Powder Brush
5)Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit scrub
6)Out the Door topcoat
7)Milani Powder blush in #08 Luminous
8)St. Ives Apricot Scrub

I cannot get enough of all of these products. First off lip balm is a must
to prevent chap lips. Second the colossal Volum' Mascara gives me nice natural full lashes which I really love at the moment. I love this Maybelline loose powder it gives me a great matte finish without feeling too cakey and ofcourse I apply that with my $3 studio E.L.F Powder Brush.
I have been struggling a lot with acne these past months and I finally found something that is helping me the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit scrub is working wonderfully and it has an amazing smell. I have been using the St. Ives Apricot Scrub to have smooth skin before I shave to remove any dead skins cells which leaves my legs smooth for a couple days longer.
Last but not least are my guilty pleasures which I splurge on. They are the Out the and the Milani Powder blush in #08 Luminous I cannot go this winter without them. This top coat is amazing leaves my nails looking great for a whole week. The Milani powder Blush is Great has enough shimmer to make my skin slightly glow and create a nice flush of color.

Hope you enjoyed this November's Favorites I will Blog soon I promise.

Hello Lovely Ladies,
Today I set out to create a smokey eye with a pop of color
and this what I came up with Hope you enjoy :)

I started off with a primer and added E.L.F's Charcoal from the Professional line

Then added Wet and Wild's Kohl eyeliner in Cool Green for a POP of color

See it is easy to incorporate a pop of color into any of your looks and the best part you won't break your bank. This look cost me a total of $4.20 :)

Have a Happy Tuesday,
