September.
Hello September,
Lovely to see you. You know it's been a while since we last meet.
I wanted to say I am excited for what you bring and what I will get to do.
Please be kind and exciting for this lovely girl.
Sincerely,
Michelle
One of my favorite things to do in
the fall is read and here are the current
stack of books I will be tackling this Fall.
I am extremely excited to pull all of my dark and neutral nail polishes out and begin to wear them again.

Run Baby Run!
Today I had a not so great run. To be honest I was so sore from the beginning and I knew this was going to be one of the hardest runs I have done in a while. I pushed through it and came out fairly strong after about a mile into my run. Now I'm just hydrating my body with lot and lots of water :)
So here is what I learned from my run today
1) I'm so glad I stretched before hand this run today.
2) Wearing your favorite running gear can help turn your run.
3) Ice packs are my new BFF oh yeah!
4) A crappy run can only mean a great run in my near future
So now I'm just relaxing and eating some yogurt and watching the men's gymnastics and the men's swim team compete in the Olympics 2012. A great way to end a busy day.
What Olympic sport is your favorite? I love all of them ;)

My new journey: Running
So for the past few months (6 months to be exact) I have taken up running as my way of exercising. I am a amateur and have never really wanted to run other than in High school when I did a year of track and field. As I began this journey I realized that deep deep deep down there was something that I really enjoyed about running. The fact that you can loose yourself in a mile and just think of you and the trail ahead. I love that I can escape my busy life of a student and a now a full time employee in 30 minutes. I know this sounds cheesy but I truly do love to feel my feet hit the pavement/ treadmill band.
I have decided to train for a 5K in October. I have never really done one before and I am still really new to running. I have my good days and some bad days but the trill of completing a race excites me. I want to be able to document my struggles, my accomplishments and my new love for others to get inspired.
If you know of any running blogs please let me know? I love reading others stories and how they have handled different situations when it comes to running.
until next time,
Michelle

I'm Back
Welcome to a new and inspired blog!
I know I have been M.I.A. but I have a good excuse, I graduated from college and got my BSW.
Now that I have spare time I have been reading other blogs and it has made me miss my own blog.
I wanted this post to be light and not too heavy, so here are my top three favorite things at the moment.
Then I will talk a little bit about how I feel being a college graduate :)
1) My navy toms in classic. How did I just buy a pair?
2) My arm candy (BaubleBar, F21 pearl and India bangle)
3) My new re-vamped board that hangs on top of my desk. (Pictures from DC, Old family pics and other keepsakes)
Just looking at these things make me happy considering that I am freaking out about getting a job.
Long story short I applied, had a interview and I should be hearing back if I got the job or not tomorrow.
Ahhh I am a nervous reck and I need to vent, SORRY. Being a college graduate should be something that you normally would feel great, but at least for me it has made me realize that I lack hobbies and have too much time on my hands. People keep telling me that all of that will change once I get a job, but but I would rather have a job and no time at all so I feel sane. I'm just a control freak and need things that occupy my time.
How do you all deal with extra time (okay, not many people don't have spare time but humor me)
Hasta Pronto,
Michelle

New Year: New Beginnings
I feel like I have neglected this part of my life.
Writing has never really been something I feel I am good at.
So I find it funny that I have this Blog.
Well I wanted to let everyone that cares :D
That on Jan 8th I will be going to Washington, DC to finish up
my last semester as a undergraduate student YAY!
I will be doing my practicum in a vibrant yet foreign city.
I will embark on this new experience with two suite cases and a box
and hope that this experience will make me a better person
and help my professional career.
In case you didn't know I am getting my BSW (Bachelors in Social Work)
I know DC is going to teach me things I cannot learn
in where I am.
I can only hope that I don't loose the energy and drive that I am taking.
So what does this mean for my youtube and my blog...
Good question.
I guess I will try to post videos on youtube and blog about my adventures.
I hope you all can come on this wonderful adventure with me
Much love,
-Nyrmirez (Michelle)
